Policy Analysis and Publication
“Empowering Education for Forced Migrant Students in Thailand’s Tak Region”
Education Consulting and Policy Analysis Research for UNESCO Bangkok in collaboration with Harvard University
Along with a team of 3 colleagues, I conducted a comprehensive policy analysis with key recommendations for UNESCO Bangkok to improve education for forced migrant students in Thailand's Tak region.
The policy analysis leverages key stakeholder and client insights while synthesising qualitative and quantitative data.
A policy matrix, weighing of alternatives, confronting potential tradeoffs and projection of outcomes is included in the report.
The culminating research is published in “Chapter 3. Empowering Forced Migrants in Thailand: Addressing Educational Challenges and Crafting Solutions” of Global Challenges, Local Solutions: Advancing Equity, Innovation, and Sustainability in Education.
ISBN: 979-8311015097.
Publication Date: February 16th, 2025
This policy analysis is conducted under the guidance of Dr. Faryal Khan for UNESCO Bangkok’s mission in Thailand’s Tak Region in collaboration with Dr. Fernando Reimers at Harvard University.
